Introducing 'PROJECT KARVAI', nestled in the serene lanes of East Abiramapuram, Chennai. This 2bhk apartment is a celebration of the gentle hues of spring, where we opted for a vibrant colour palette to redefine traditional design norms, minimizing wood panelling. Our latest obsession, LIMEWASH, infuses a cozy ambiance throughout the space. The living area embraces lush green tones mirroring the surrounding landscape,while the dining area features exposed brick complemented by concrete textures. Each bedroom boasts its own distinctive colour scheme, incorporating elements like wood, antiques, and soft fabrics. The master bedroom exudes sophistication with a blend of greys, whites, and wood accents, highlighted by a 55 year-old poster bed from the client's family heirloom collection. In the secondary bedroom, shades of blue reign supreme, accented by wardrobe shutters adorned with fabric patterns. The study room is a burst of vibrant peach hues, extending to the ceiling for an eclectic touch. Notably, a centre piece of the project is a 150-year-old door from the client's ancestral estate, this captivating piece serves as a focal point in the living room, along with wooden rafters adding depth and character to the space.
The master bedroom radiates elegance and sophistication, seamlessly blending shades of greys and with warm wood accents. A standout feature is the stunning 55-year-old poster bed, which holds a special place in the client’s family heirloom collection, adding a touch of history and charm to the space.
In contrast, the secondary bedroom embraces a serene palette of blue hues, creating a calming atmosphere. This room is beautifully accented by wardrobe shutters, which are adorned with intricate fabric patterns, enhancing the overall design and providing cozy yet stylish retreat.
Study room is an exquisite blend of vibrant peach hues that extend all the way to the ceiling, infusing the space with an eclectic and lively atmosphere. One of the most remarkable elements of this project is a stunning 150-year-old door sourced from the client's ancestral estate.
